Software Management Scans not detecting all patches available for download

There is a currently known issue with the Software Management module since the last VSA patch (.26).

It causes problems with detection of patches available for download.

The Local Database for SM scans on the agent is locked and stopping the scans from completing. We have an agent procedure to delete the local DB file from the agent which will recreate a new DB and complete the scans.

If you are experiencing this issue, please download the Agent Procedure here and import into your VSA by going to the Agent Procedure Module – Manage Procedures – Schedule/ Create. Click on the folder you want it to go to and Import Folder/Procedure on top of the screen.

Run the procedure on all affected machines. Please make sure you are using a proper distribution window (based on the number of your machines). Our recommendation is to set your distribution window to at least 15 minutes for every 50 machines you are running the procedure on.

Kaseya Support is working on a fix for this issue which should be included in a future release.
