The new 2.0 engine is leveraging the Windows update agent API. This means that the new engine is dependent on Windows update agent working and being able to reach Microsoft sites to download patches. The new engine does not currently have a LAN cache system; this is in the roadmap as the current version hosts all files and there are cases where this is needed.
When troubleshooting you can collect the logs from the agent menu. It is the SM activity log:
Known Issues
There are reports of 3PP not deploying unless there is a 3PP profile attached to the machine. Remember, the 3PP profiles are also used to INSTALL 3PP software. Please use caution when applying 3PP profiles to your machines.
